Medium sized week for me. Looks like this:

A rare week for me where I’m picking up more DC than Marvel. I’m most looking forward to reading Detective Comics and JSA with its new creative team.

I also managed to order online Robin 3000 this week for £2 which I thought was a bargain. I have no clue if it will be any good or not I just liked the idea of Batman & Robin in the future and thought it had a cool cover. Anyone read it? Let me know what you thoughts.

I’ve also been reading the Old Boy manga series which I picked up beacuse I love the film. I’ve never read manga before but have read volumes 1 & 2 (of 7) so far and am really enjoying it. I plan on doing a review of the whole series when I finish and will be comparing it to the film.

What are you guys picking up this week?

    I've never even heard of the Robin 3000 comics until you mentioned them Matthew. Upon reading up on it, it looks like something I may be interested in checking out. If you don't mind, let me know what you think of it after you've given it a read.

    Old Boy is a great series. I'll be looking forward to your review of it.

    Small week for me. I already read Ultimatum #5 and New Avengers #55 and they were every bit as terrible as I knew they would be.

    @ Robert -Dont worry Robert, thats why we're here to do reviews and stuff, to let you know whats good and whats not for future purchases.
    @ X-Man - yeah big week for you x-man. I'll make sure to do a review of Robin 3000 for you when I'm done, and I still look forward to your thoughts on wednesday comics. (Plus did you manage to get Wanted TPB yet?)
    @ J - I've ordered Old Boy number 3 today. Loving it. Seems New avengers is still not getting better yet then? Damn shame, i was hoping a new arc might improve things a little.

    New Avengers needs a total overhaul and a new writer before it gets any better. Yeah, I did get myself the Wanted trade, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Hopefully soon, but I've got literally hundreds of comics laying around that I haven't gotten to!
